Longfeng xia is the name of one of the highest peaks in the Shanlinxi mountain range. Every evening, the moon gracefully rests upon this peak, earning it the poetic name “Peak Beneath the Moon.” The Qingxin cultivar grown here is simply divine, exhibiting rich, buttery notes that make it reminiscent of Alishan, but with greater intensity and complexity. Fresh and delicately floral, it’s a truly exceptional tea with a unique personality. Highly recommended for those seeking a deep understanding of Taiwanese high mountain oolong.
\nWe recommend infusing at 85-90°C in a 100-120 ml gaiwan, using 4 grams of leaves. The first infusion should last around 60-70 seconds, with subsequent infusions requiring 30 seconds. Do not rinse the leaves. Excellent for cold brewing.
