Description
The Lumbini tea valley represents the pinnacle of Ceylon tea excellence, where nature, environmental respect, and traditional craftsmanship combine to create wonderful teas. This black tea features a not fully oxidized level, resulting in a light and elegant body, but it is the shape of the leaves that determines its uniqueness. The third leaves are folded in half like a book and rolled by hand one by one by skilled artisans to create small brown roses. It’s mesmerizing to watch the little roses slowly unfurl in water while releasing their delightful flavor.
\nWe recommend infusions in a gaiwan at 90°C, using 4 grams of leaves with steeping times varying from 1 to 1.5 minutes for multiple infusions. Alternatively, you can use small porcelain or glass teapots with a capacity of about 400 ml, also at 90°C, with 8 grams of leaves and infusions lasting 4-5 minutes.
