Description

In the high mountains of Thailand, near the Myanmar border, lies a small village inhabited by a community of Yunnanese ethnicity, called Mae Salong. In these mountains, the ancient Ruanzhi cultivar can still be found, originally brought to Taiwan and later to Thailand. This rare plant has given rise to the modern Taiwanese Qingxin and finds its ideal habitat in Mae Salong. With fruity and citrusy notes, this plant shines in both oxidized and white tea forms. A rarity that has won numerous awards as the best tea in various competitions in Asia.
\nWe recommend infusion in a 120 ml gaiwan with 4 grams of leaves at 90°C for about 1 minute. Excellent for cold brewing.
